Python Tutorial to learn Python programming with examples
In Python, users can define custom exceptions by creating a new class. This exception class has to be derived, either directly or indirectly, from the built-in Exception class.
Python throws errors and exceptions whenever code behaves abnormally & its execution stop abruptly. Python provides us tools to handle such scenarios with the help of the exception handling method using try-except statements. Some standard exceptions which are found include ArithmeticError, AssertionError, AttributeError, ImportError, etc.
Creating a User-defined Exception class
