When updating Flutter to version 3.13.8 I received a strange warning:
Network resources:
A cryptographic error occurred while checking : github.com Connection terminated during handshake You may be experiencing a man-in-the-middle attack, your network may be compromised, or you may have malware installed on your computer.
This was unexpected for me and I started looking for a vulnerability on my computer, first with Windows Defender, then with Bitdefender antivirus and other antiviruses, but the antiviruses did not detect a single threat, but only deleted the files I needed.
After that, I installed a free firewall and started scanning outgoing http requests from my computer.
The cause turned out to be some Infatica P2B Network program along the path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Infatica P2B\infatica-service-app.exe
It is installed on the computer secretly; in my case, it appeared after installing the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.
Solution: I uninstalled the Infatica P2B Network program using
Revo Uninstaller Pro, (Reg Organizer and standard uninstallation of programs in Windows are also suitable for this purpose)
Everything's okay now)
#flutter #dart flutter doctor
