In Figma, it is easy to trace back to the parent main component by clicking "Go to Main Component" with the instance selected.
So what about the other way around?
Where is the part that is being used as an instance?
There is no way to discover this in the default functionality.
Therefore, we recommend the Instance Finder plugin.
Let's use it right away.
Instance Finder
Find and launch Instance Finder from Resources
With the main component selected, click Find.
You will then see the pages in use and the number of them, and
Clicking on an element will take you there in an instant.
