The round function in Python lets you round to a certain number of decimal places, or round to the nearest integer if you specify no second argument. If you specify the second argument to be negative in the round function, though, you round to the nearest ten to the power of the absolute value of the second argument. So negative one rounds to the nearest ten to the power of the absolute value of negative one, or just ten. round is one of Python's 71 built-in functions. The ideal audience for this video is Python beginners.
