Perforce (free!) Complete Setup | Unreal Engine Version Control (3/5)
In this third part of my Perforce series for Unreal Engine, I walk through the full setup of a Perforce Depot on a networked machine in just 12 easy steps, and show exactly how to access it from another workstation on the same network. This is the “proper” Perforce setup — not Perforce One — and it's now a key part of my real-time filmmaking workflow in Unreal Engine.

Full disclosure: I am not a network administrator! Nontheless, I break down installing the server tools, assigning a static IP, creating depots and streams, building workspaces, and connecting everything inside Unreal Engine. This is the foundation you need for reliable version control when working with Unreal Engine projects, especially if you want to allow for collaboration.
