In JavaScript, setTimeout() and setInterval() are used to time execution of code at specific intervals.

The setTimeout method calls a function after a specified number of milliseconds. Additional parameters can also be passed to the function.

The setInterval() method is very similar, except it will run continually until it is either cleared or the window is closed. It too can accept additional parameters to be passed to the function.

Both methods can be stopped by using clearTimeout() and clearInterval() accordingly.

This will be the last #JavaScriptJanuary video of 2020. Unfortunately I do not have the power to extend the month of January more than 31 days ;)

But don't worry! There will be more videos in the 90 second series weekly throughout 2020!! Stay tuned..
