Using a combination of Supabase Edge Functions and Postgres functions, I’ll walk you through how to securely insert data that’s automatically encrypted, retrieve decrypted data safely via an API, and quickly cover how to handle updates to encrypted records.
By the end of this walkthrough, you’ll have a solid approach for selectively encrypting sensitive data in your Supabase project—while still making it accessible to your client apps through simple #REST API calls to your Edge Functions.
