CODESYS: Network Variables - Communicating between two CODESYS PLCs

In this video, I demonstrate how to create a communication path between two CODESYS PLCs and exchange variables using Network Variables. The two CODESYS PLCs are running on two separate PCs on the same local network. This is an easy way of communicating between CODESYS PLCs, compared to my previous tutorial on using Node-RED, however, it has its own limitations. First, you need to add a network variable list on both the sender and receiver side. To have two-way communication, you need to repeat it. Second, this approach is for the CODESYS PLCs and not for all PLCs. Third, you need to create a variable list for the variables that you want to exchange, and can not simply choose the variables among the ones that you have declared in the project.
