In this video, I will explain Interlocking using a simple example. The Interlock function block from the OSCAT library is used in the project, which is developed using the structured text programming language.
When two Boolean variables are interlocked, they can not become true simultaneously. Meaning that one could become TRUE only if the other one is False. A typical example would be the elevator: The door of the elevator should not be opened while the cabin is moving, and the cabin should not move while the door is open.
In the video, I also show how to implement the same function block using the CFC programming language.
