In this video, we’ll be exploring how to create custom scrollbars using HTML and CSS. We’ll be discussing the CSS scrollbars styling module, which defines properties that you can use for visual styling of scrollbars1. You’ll learn how to customize the width of the scrollbar as required, as well as how to customize the color of the scrollbar track (the background of the scrollbar) and the color of the scrollbar thumb (the draggable handle of the scrollbar)

We’ll also be looking at some examples of custom scrollbars, including a dark theme scrollbar with a rounded border inspired by CSS Tricks’ website. By the end of this video, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to create your own custom scrollbars using HTML and CSS.
