It can be easy for key data to get lost in a pivot table. In this Excel tutorial, we'll go over how to apply conditional formatting to pivot table values to help key pieces stand out.

When you add conditional formatting to a pivot table, you have options for what to apply the formatting rule to. Knowing which option to use and when is important. Otherwise, your conditional formatting won't work the way you expect or you could run the risk that your conditional formatting disappears when you refresh.
