In this Python tutorial, you will learn how to create a simple but effective diff-tool using nothing else but Python's standard library..

First, we will have a look at the final result as well as how to compute deltas in general.

Secondly, the proof of concept is turned into a proper command-line interface.

Last but not least, an option to export the delta to an HTML file and view it in the browser is implemented.
