Comparing RSLogix Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Function Block, and Sequential Function Chart
This video takes a very simple application and I write it in all 4 types of coding that is offered in version 20 of RSLogix 5000.
Please note: I am most comfortable with ladder logic, there are always 100 ways to program anything. I wanted to give the same example across all 4 types to give some contextual basis to ladder logic.
The Sequential Function Chart code I wrote does not act exactly the same way the other three do, it is not a pure conversion so don't expect it to be!
