My Ball Python (Python regius)
Meet "Rex," my male Ball Python (Python regius). He's fat, slow to move, and very friendly and curious.
Note: This is a video I made for my kids' elementary school a few years ago, showing them my collection of snakes and explaining what makes each species unique and special, and whether they'd make good pets or not. I filmed this during the pandemic and I had just bought a light kit and iPhone tripod and was learning how to use it, so it's WAY overexposed, and you can see how overwhelming the light was in my eyes. Oh well. I learned eventually.
