ch – chain stitch
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch

Granny Square Pattern
COLOR 1:

Ch 4, join with sl st to create a ring, ch2.
Work remaining stitches into the center of the ring as follows:
2DC, ch 2, 3DC, ch2, 3DC, ch2, 3DC, ch 2, join to the first ch 2 with sl st.
Ch 1, Cut yarn and pull through, weave in the end.

COLOR 2:
Start work into any corner: Ch2, 2DC, ch2, 3DC.
2nd corner: 3DC, ch2, 3DC.
3rd corner: 3DC, ch2, 3DC.4th corner: 3DC, ch2, 3DC, join to the first ch2 with sl st.
Ch 1, Cut yarn and pull through, weave in the end.

COLOR 3:
1st corner: Ch2 (counts as the first DC), 2DC, ch2, 3DC.
In spaces: 3DC.
In the remaining corners: 3DC, Ch2, 3DC.
Join to the first ch2 with sl st.
