Linrad FM at 35 MHz bandwidth under Linux. This video shows the small improvement that can be obtained by setting CPU affinities for the critical threads to have a CPU of their own. There is an advantage, but it is not worth the increased complexity of the entire system. The Linux scheduler is doing a pretty good job, no need to try to improve. The sound on this reqording is quieted while an FM station was playing copyrighted Music. (Starting 8.18 in the video. Unfortunately some of my commenting got lost.)
