Installing Python and getting a code editor. These two steps are all you need to do to start learning and coding Python.
Stop putting off starting your Python journey! You're just two steps away from coding your first Python script.
It's common to feel unsure and overwhelmed when first starting out. Even running a script can seem like a mammoth task! I know what it's like to feel confused and uncertain with no idea of what to do. That's why I made this video and indeed this channel.
This video will give you a nice gentle introduction to get you started in less than 10 mins!
We'll install a code editor. Visual studio is my editor of choice and I heartily recommend it.
We'll also get Python installed on our machine.
Finally, as a little preview, we'll run our first script!
If you follow along, by the end you'll be ready to start your Python journey in earnest.
WHY PYTHON?
Python is one of the most powerful and flexible skills we can acquire.
It can give us the power to automate tedious manual tasks, create functional prototypes for proving our ideas and much, much more.
