We're going to explore the fascinating concept of the "Hidden Placket." As the name suggests, this unique design feature keeps the buttons concealed from the outside, giving your garments a sleek and polished appearance.
The Hidden Placket consists of two layers, ingeniously concealing the buttonholes on the under placket. When you fasten your buttons, the top layer gracefully covers them, adding a touch of elegance to blouses, shirts, jackets, and coats alike.

In this tutorial, I'll be showing you not just one, but two fantastic methods to create patterns for Hidden Button Plackets. The first technique involves crafting a one-piece front and neatly folding it, which works wonders for blouses and shirts made with lightweight fabrics.
For the second method, I'll teach you how to extend the front and facing, ideal for working with thicker fabrics or outerwear pieces like jackets and coats.
