Moodle Development - The JavaScript Framework
Moodle had been using the Yahoo User Interface library (YUI) framework for years but with no further development taking place on the library which started life in 2005, the recommended way to do JavaScript is with JQuery and modules using the Asynchronous Module Definition (AMD) API. In this video presentation, we will be covering the JavaScript Framework.
** NB: There have been some changes in the technologies discussed in the video since Moodle 4. Whilst support is still provided for what is being discussed, be aware that there are some changes for later versions of Moodle. **
