In this video, I will teach you how to upload image from Android app to a server using a very easy method. PHP is used as server-side scripting language and the database used in this scenario is MySQL.

Applications of image uploading in Android:
You often come across scenarios in your Android projects where you need to upload images such as user's profile images, product images, scanned documents etc. But many young developers think it is a very difficult task to implement but today I am going to show you to upload an image to server from Android app in an easy step by step tutorial.

This tutorial includes 4 steps:
The user selects an image from the gallery or camera app.
Image cropper is shown to allow a user to crop the image before uploading
Once the image is cropped, it sent to PHP server as multipart form data using Fast Android Networking library.
Finally, on the server-side, a PHP script receives the image and moves it to the required folder and then MySQL database can be updated with the new image path accordingly.
