Tutorial 1: How to Code Digital Art in JavaScript | CODE Along with Black Girls CODE
Art is an extremely powerful tool for self-expression. That's why we're teaching you how to make one-of-a-kind digital art throughout this series. In this CODE Along episode, our awesome host, Jiliane, introduces you to p5.js, a JavaScript library for creative coding. She will teach you how to code basic shapes -- circles, ovals, triangles, and rectangles -- as the foundation for your digital art piece. She'll also teach you to add color to your canvas, to your 2D shapes, and to your shape borders.
