JavaScript Static Methods
In JavaScript, like other languages, static methods are methods that belong to a class, not an instance of a class. Often times this means static methods will be inside classes that hold a library of them. You can observe this with the Math object in JavaScript. Most, if not all of the methods of the Math object are static methods as you don't need a particular instance of the Math class, you just call the methods directly from the Math class.
