This is the second video in our series on understanding how to use the no-code app builder, Adalo. In this video, we’re going to learn more about screens.

Screens are the unique pages you’ll create in your no-code mobile app that your app uses to interact with. These screens will make up the user interface (or UI)! Each screen is made up of various components — like buttons, lists, text, images, and more.

There are three unique screen navigation types:
(1) Home Screen | A Home Screen is the first screen a user will see when they are “Logged-In” to your app.
(2) Welcome Screen | A Welcome Screen is the first screen a user will see when they are NOT “Logged-In” to your app.
(3) Normal Screen | A Normal Screen is any other screen in your app.

Every Adalo app needs to have a Home & Welcome Screen — oftentimes, these screens are different, but these two screen types may be on the same screen.

Mobile & Web Apps are comprised of several screens to guides users through a good experience. Each screen serves a specific purpose in the experience and should be designed accordingly. In future videos, we will discuss how to create a beautiful app interface, but for now we are learning about the foundations of good app building.
