In my last video of "Set up WordPress website on Amazon EC2 Linux instance", I put both WordPress application and database on one same instance, it is not a good practice.
In today's video, I created WordPress website using Amazon RDS. Differences in the procedure compared to setting up WordPress website on one same instance of AWS EC2 are as follow:
1. Have a separate database
2. Modify RDS security group to allow traffic from WordPress instance
3. Modify the wp-config.php of WordPress to change database host name from localhost to RDS endpoint.
