Resolving Blue Screen errors in Windows
Ever been caught off guard by that dreaded Blue Screen of Death, leaving you wondering what on earth went wrong? Well, fear not! In today's video, we're diving into the nitty-gritty of Windows 10 stop codes – those mysterious combinations of numbers and letters that pop up when your system decides to take a break.
Let's dive in and unravel the mysteries together.
1. Click on the Windows search bar at the bottom left, and type CMD.
2. Right-click on the Command Prompt from the search result, and click on the Run as administrator.
3. A User Account Control pop-up will appear, click on the Yes button.
4. In the Command Prompt window, type the following command
Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth, and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
5. The scan process will take time, here I have speed up the video as scan process to show you the next steps quickly.
6. Once the scan process is completed successfully, you will see a message.
7. Now type another command as follows
sfc /scannow, and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
8. This will start and complete the scan process and will repair any corrupted files.
9. Although, my PC is asking to reboot the Windows and then run the SFC command again. Because on my PC there is no problem, so, I am skipping this step and going to perform another command.
10. Type a command chkdsk C: and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
11. This command will scan the Windows and tell you the problem in the Windows file.
12. Always update your Windows, to do so click on the Windows start icon.
13. Now, click on the Settings.
14. In the Settings window, click on the Update & Security option.
15. Before starting updates, scroll down the Windows Update panel, and click on the Advanced options.
16. Turn On the button 'Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows' and then update your Windows.
