I enabled HTTPS on my website with free SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt.
I depleted 3 free "SSL For Free" (now ZeroSSL) certificates and I needed an alternative free way.

This is the way I found to create SSL/TLS crt and key files which I could upload to my hosting provider. NO coding required.
These are the files I needed to upload:
certificate.crt
ca_bundle.crt
private.key

Check out if your hosting provider already supports Let’s Encrypt for free so you do not need this tutorial:

To download ACME client go to:
https://letsencrypt.org

Every hosting provider should advice how to redirect from HTTP to HTTPS.
Below text should be in your .htaccess file:

HTTP to HTTPS REDIRECT ##
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301,NC]

Let's Encrypt certificates are valid for 90 days, during which renewal can take place at any time. Send yourself email reminder.
