What is Unit testing? Why should you use Unit testing in Data Science and Data Engineering? Well, the idea of unit tests is to test a unit of code. Also unit tests are the easiest tests to implement and provide you with a very good amount of peace of mind. Some might say unit tests don’t really apply to data science or data engineering. I personally use them quite often. For example, in data engineering, whenever you have some sort of data transformation... this is a good case for a unit test.

In the last video we've talked about general software testing and differences between Unit Testing, Integration testing, and End2End testing. In this unit testing tutorial I show you examples of unit tests in python.
