Automatic Pipe Insulation Using Dynamo RevitAPI
Created a dynamo to provide the insulation of all the pipes in a simple way. some times, by mistake we are providing wrong insulation thickness. there is a possibility to forget to provide the insulation. it will be very helpful to the user if there is way to add the insulation to all the pipes in a perticular service without manual selection.
This Dynamo will help us to select the pipes by seperate systems and will add insulation to all the pipes of in that perticular system.
here i selected Hydrolic return pipes and in these two boxes i will enter the pipe sizes. half inch to two inch pipes shall be one inch insulation and two and half to four inch will be two inch insulation. Select the type of the insulation and click on Apply button. Now we will check the model. see, insulation added to the pipes.
above four inch pipes are not insulated because we didn't include those pipes in our range.
Supply pipes also not insulated.
In such a way we can select each systems and can add the insulation.
if you are not using dynamo player, need to change true or false node after each use.
