Python - Slash (/) as a Function Parameter???

Did you see that weird slash (/) in the list of parameters a function accepts in Python?
You may not have yet since it's only for Python 3.8 and above right now. But its purpose is to not allow any named arguments. So you can't pass in arguments by name, you have to put them in the right positions for each argument on the left of a slash (/). Anything after a slash (/) can be named though!
Any ideas what this can be used for?
