This video series shows how the Python programming language can be used to simulate phased arrays.
A phased Array is an array of emitters (antennas etc..) that work together to produce a strong signal in a specific direction or point.
This video is aimed at people interested in physics and would like to know more about how waves can interact depending on their phase and position, or undergraduates who are just starting to learn about waves and/or python.
Part1:
Some theory and applications and getting the initial emitter to emit!
• Phased Arrays in Python (tutorial): P...
Part2:
Placing individual emitters into an emitter array and seeing what happens when they are rotated in space and what happens when a linear
phase relationship is introduced
• Phased Arrays in Python (tutorial): P...
Part3:
Changing the phase relation between the emitters to produce some interesting results, such as beam steering and beam focussing
