Blocks allow us to reuse geometries, whether a single one or several that make up a single repetitive object. They help designers of all kinds streamline their drawing processes. They can be reused in as many drawings as we want, as they can be exported from one drawing to another. We can also modify a block's scale and insertion angle.
Creating, inserting, and exporting a block is very simple. The steps to follow are:

1- First, draw the object we're going to convert into a block.
2- Then, click on Create Block, an icon located in the "Home" palette. If you don't see it, just type "Block" to access the "Block Definition" menu. There, select the objects we're going to convert, name them, and choose an insertion point.
3- Now we can insert them into our drawing with just one click on the "Insert" icon.
4- To use the block in other drawings, we must export it. To do this, click "Start AutoCAD" and select "Export." Then, click "Other formats" and save the block, typing its name in the window that appears.
