Next Greater Element I - Leetcode 496 | Stack + Map JavaScript Solution
In this video, solve LeetCode 496: Next Greater Element I using an efficient monotonic stack + hash map solution in JavaScript.
You are given two arrays nums1 and nums2, where nums1 is a subset of nums2. For each element in nums1, you must find its next greater element to the right in nums2, or return -1 if it doesn’t exist.
What you’ll learn:What “next greater element to the right in nums2” really means.How to traverse nums2 with a decreasing monotonic stack to precompute next greater values in O(n).
