Excel Switch Function with 3 examples
In this video, I will show you the SWITCH() function in Excel with three simple but practical examples.
1st example - Using SWITCH() to determine the retail price of a product in a drop down list.
2nd example – Using SWITCH() to provide a remarks of either a weekday or weekend given a specific day of the week in date format. WEEKDAY() function is used to determine the serial number of the date to be used as an expression in the SWITCH().
3rd example – Using SWITCH() together with VLOOKUP() with three table reference incorporated. The SWITCH() function will use the three tables in its syntax and then, it will be inserted to the VLOOKUP() function as the table array.
