Prius Error Code P3016
Ok, I was driving my 2008 Toyota Prius, when the red triangle of death came on.The car started loosing power, so I got the vehicle back home ASAP. I check the error codes with my OBDII computer, and it returned a P0A80 error code, along with a new one, that I had never seen before, a P3016 error code. Noe the P0A80 code is a replace you hybrid battery code! That is never good! I addressed this error in another Prius video I make, where I replaced a bad batter cell, in the large, high voltage hybrid battery. But What is this strange new error code?? Upon further investigation, I found it was a warning that the resistance was too high, inside something inside the hybrid battery. In this video, I trouble shoot, and fix this problem, and get that old car back up and running once again! Hope this helps you!!
