Create a WordPress Suggested Posts Plugin Using ACF + Shortcode
In this video, I’ll show you how to build a WordPress suggested posts plugin using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and display the selected posts anywhere using a shortcode.
This solution comes from a real client requirement where editors needed full control over which posts appear as suggested content inside an article.
Instead of relying on automatic related posts, we’ll allow editors to manually select posts using an ACF Relationship field and render them dynamically on the frontend.
