Getting Started With Using Python In Power BI From a Python Developer
So I have been working with Python for 6+ years, focus mostly on data analytics, automation scripts, reporting, and business application development. By having the capability of executing Python scripts in Power BI, we will have more tools to run data analysis tasks, automate reporting, or integrate Power BI with 3rd party APIs to make our reporting more dynamic.
In this tutorial, I will walk you through how to 1) install Python, 2) create a Python virtual environment, 3) install Python libraries, 4) configure Python Power BI development settings, and 5) go through examples in Power BI.
