Bootstrap 3 Grid Classes Tutorial by Bootstrap CSS Girl
This Bootstrap CSS tutorial discusses the bootstrap grid classes. In this bootstrap tutorial, I discuss the bootstrap grid classes and explain how they can be used to create responsive layouts.
The Bootstrap CSS Grid System has four grid classes. The smallest grid class is xs for extra small devices such as cell phones. The next grid class is sm for small devices such as tablets. The third grid class is md for medium devices such as laptops and small desktop monitors. The last grid class is lg for large devices such as big desktop computers.
You can set different column layouts for each size of device.
Bootstrap grid layout example: div class = "col-sm-2 col-md-4 col-lg-6"
Bootstrap column classes sm (small) spanning 2 column spaces, md (medium) spanning 4 column spaces, and lg (large) spanning 6 column space
Things to remember when using Bootstrap CSS:
Always place your grid within a container.
Don't forget to include a link to the Bootstrap CDN within your head section.
