Linux/Unix Tutorial for Beginners for Python installation
This tutorial will teach and guide you through the steps involved in the process of installation of Python 3.5 and Python 2.7 in a Linux system.
The steps involved are mentioned below:-
1.) Download the Python source tarball.
wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.5...
2.) Decompress the package.
tar xzf Python-3.5.1.tgz
3.) Compile the sources.
cd Python-3.5.1
./configure
make
4.) Install the Python package/version manager to work with both the python versions together
sudo make altinstall
