Text to speech converter is a great technology which is now a days used in many software. In this video i have explained how to convert text to speech using gTTS i.e google text to speech library and python. This python video tutorial explains how can a simple text or file containing text can be converted into text and stored as a audio.

Note: Make sure that you have an active internet connection

Steps for converting text to speech:

step 0: Download and install gtts using pip install gTTS

step 1: call the gTTS function ...first parameter is the text to be converted to speech,second parameters specifies the language of the text and the third parameter specifies the speed of the speech/audio(slow,normal)

step 2: store this speech as a audio file using save function

step 3: Double click the audio file to hear the converted speech
