About This Video:
Condition based Maintenance is one of the many Maintenance types, are considered during Plant Maintenance / Asset Management activities. This strategy is of course as well supported by SAP S/4HANA EAM. As you may suspect, there are certain prerequisites, which have to be met. Assets have to be reflected in the system along with additional master data, which is called Measuring Points. In this video you will see End-to-end scenario, from Business Case introduction, master data preparation, and data entry - which will be performed in the future by your people, your technicians.
We will see two types - a measuring point and a counter. One for temperature, second one for operating hours.

Whole process is fully supported from SAP Fiori Launchpad side - the data entry will be carried out by a new SAP Fiori Application called Perform Maintenance Jobs, which is part of Phase Maintenance (9 phases). At the end we will display Measurement documents, which we’ve just created.
Persona-based approach and theoretical part will help you to understand this topic as much as you can.
