How To Make A Game | Unity C# - Class, Object & Constructor | Unity Tutorial | Game Development
In this video, VP talks about classes & objects in C# and explains the viewers on what classes are, what objects are, how to define a class, how to create an instance of a class aka. How to create an object in their unity script when coding game using the unity game engine.
Using RPG analogy he explains why the viewers would want to use classes and objects in their code and also explains with an example in what sort of situation the viewers would want to use them.
Then he goes on to explain and show in using unity and c#, the differences between instance variables & class variables and instance methods & class methods.
Further he goes on to explain about how using the static modifier / keyword, the viewers can create class variables and methods.
With all that explained he goes on to the last topic of the video and wraps up after talking about constructors in C# and covers everything about it from what constructors are, why the viewers should use constructors in their code, how to define constructors, how to make constructor with parameters, how to pass arguments to constructor, error when trying to use constructor as a method, this keyword, etc.
By watching this unity tutorial series, you will be able to start understanding the process of how to make a game using the unity game engine. You will understand the basics of game coding, game development and unity script that you will need to code a game. Whether it's a unity 3d or a unity 2d game, this series can be considered as the base for either of them and will give a kick start to you on how to make your own game.
