We like to go over ideas conceptually and also see how they work in real life, so we've done two videos on full-wave rectifiers - this conceptual video and another practical video. For a full-wave rectifier circuit, also known as a bridge rectifier, we do a conceptual review to cover how a full wave rectifier works as well as some important factors to consider regarding voltage drop, peak inverse voltage, and average power. We want to cover full-wave rectifiers, because they're an effective and efficient way to get your AC source into a DC signal - much better than the half-wave rectifier and only a little bit more complicated. Check out our other videos on half- and full-wave rectifiers to get more details on how they work and some practical demonstrations of half- and full-wave rectifiers in action.
You'll definitely want to check out JB's written tutorial that this video is based on at the CircuitBread website - https://www.circuitbread.com/tutorial...
