This is video 2 of the Access database form design tutorial where we create a Vendor database with forms to select a vendor and view details, including multiple contacts, in a second form using a subform. We discuss the architecture of the two tables for this project and create a simple One-To-Many relationship between the vendor table and the contacts table to accomplish this.
In this installment the Access database form design tutorial series, I will create the Vendor to Vendor Contact query and test it based on VendorID criteria.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Over the course of the 7 videos in the tutorial, I will show you the basics of creating forms in access, including the use of subforms, comboboxes, textboxes, and other control elements.
If you are looking for some ways to make your Accesss database application UI more professional, I show you an approach to microsoft access form design that will have your access database forms looking less like a clunky tool stuck in the 1990's and more like a modern software application.
Once I show you how to add the appropriate Access VBA programming to automate the workflow of the application, hopefully you will be inspired to create your own and keep learning more.
