Let's get started! 🔥🔥🔥 In this video, we will show you different ways to display data using JavaScript: We can write data into an HTML element, into the HTML directly, into a pop-up alert box, into the browser's console, as well as clicking a button to print the web page! You will learn some web development basics in less than 5 minutes!
In this video, you will learn how to:
★ 0:33 Use innerHTML to write data into an HTML element
★ 1:21 Use document.write() to write data into the HTML
★ 2:21 Use window.alert() to write data into an alert box
★ 3:08 Use console.log() to write data into browser's console
★ 3:43 Use window.print() to print the content of the current window.
Tips and Tricks:
► It's fairly common to use the innerHTML property of an HTML element to display data in the HTML.
► The document.write() method should only be limited to testing.
► Never display sensitive data in console.log() and only use it for debugging purposes.
► Specifying the window keyword for its methods, such as "window".alert(), is optional since it is a global scope object.
