Visualizing Geographic Statistical Data with Google Maps
Video showcasing how custom Google Maps based maps can be used to visualize geographic statistical data. In this example, I have plotted the relative median income and population density of postal code areas in Finland.
The map was built with the Google Maps JavaScript API, Python and JavaScript. I wrote a blog post that describes the actual steps in detail, see links below. The code is available on GitHub.
