Spring Security Integration with Spring Boot Web Application
This Video will give step by step demonstration of integration of Spring Security with Spring Boot. A simple hello world web application using Spring MVC is developed which would greet the user with the user name entered on the home page. The views /hello is protected using Spring Security. The demonstration shows the protection of the view /hello both by the Spring Security provided default login pate and customized sign in page. This would help viewer to understand the Spring Security fundamentals in simplest manner. The authentication mechanism demonstrated is username and password authentication by storing the user details in InMemory for the ease of demonstration . In further videos Spring Security with Open Authentication will be demonstrated in a possible simplest way.
