Java is a popular programming language for building APIs in, and so in this tutorial we'll make a very simple Java API, based on our previous API specifications for a fruit warehouse.

We start off with a basic Spring Java project, that we push to Heroku. We expand our project by creating functions for the endpoints that we need for our API. (We see how the mapping and parameters work.) We then test those endpoints by using Postman and entering certain information.

This is great for a starter project, but very incomplete. In another tutorial, we'll expand this project and make it much more complete by moving the functions to another file, handling status codes and errors, and adding more functionality.
