Measuring Your Language Learning Progress
One thing that can be very difficult to do when learning a foreign language is measuring your progress. At times, it can be hard to know where you stand in terms of your overall level in the language that you are learning. In a lot of ways, your skill at the language can be very subjective. How many words do you really know? How good are you really at speaking? This as well as many other factors can make measuring your language learning progress difficult at times.
That said, I think it is very important to try to measure your language learning progress as much as you can. Goal setting in tandem with tracking and measuring your progress however can make all the difference. Still, goal setting and tracking is something that tends to be neglected by many people. While it might be extra work, I think that ultimately in the long run goal setting and the measuring of your progress can be incredibly valuable in your language learning.
