(~a short little song that blends some Chinese folk with some pop elements, dance ideas, and a spring atmosphere, like Genshin’s Port Ormos theme, but more electronic~)
Miko tails Rumi along a twisting street, market stalls crowding and storefronts crowding the sides as they march past families of all sizes.
Clenched between Rumi’s hands is a paper bag, one she props up with both her arms to help carry its weight.
“Y-You’re sure we have that many people to gift this Rinthian?” she says, tossing in a sunflower keychain Miko had just bought.
“I mean, we could always just collect the ones we don’t give! You’re the one who said everything here was cheap.”
“Oh for sure, for sure… Just a challenge carrying all this without anywhere to sit.”
As they turn a corner, an elder carrying sacks of produce bumps into Miko. She stumbles, but he moves on with a quick apology—after all, business cannot wait for pleasantries.
Even through the crowds and buildings here, so long as Miko squints, the oceans reveal themselves far ahead, and as Rumi once promised, the shops here in the District of Zinnia only get better as one nears the waterfront.
They have more than enough time to pay Zinnia’s boardwalks a visit and more than enough savings to haul a few more trinkets.
But it wouldn’t hurt to have a few more looks around these stalls.
