Finally, I have uploaded this video. It took me a long time due to corruption. Hell, the quality is terrible, and I'm truly sorry. It's my first time making a long-form video like this, but I was pleased making it, and I hope you understand the key points of the video.
Time stamps for our fellow friends:
0:40 -- Beginning of it all: Goal 1: Speed run
1:21 -- Insanity: Goal 2: Analysis
1:55—The end: Goal 2: Finale {Get as many dupes as possible in less than a minute.}
Songs used are from Terraria, Deltarune, and Terraria: Calamity.
Explaining some stuff here:
Question: Why use a grid?
Answer: I used a grid because it's the simplest form of understanding how this website works, and I hope I explained it clearly.
Question: How'd you find the game
Answer: The story isn't made up; I searched for fun sites, got addicted to useless web generator, and then while I was clicking randomly, I found Pointer Pointer.
Question: What are the corruptions
Answer: When I was using Kdenlive, it kept corrupting my exported and rendered footage due to my low-spec laptop. Hence, this video is very low quality due to optimization, and this is why it took 2 months; thankfully, I was able to make it today :)
Question: How'd you figure out all of this
Answer: just played on the site for some hours.
Question: Why did you do this
Answer: free will, and it's really fun, and I want to share my interests and discoveries with you guys.
I'm using Shotcut now and Canva for the thumbnail
In-depth explanation of the grid system. from 1:32 to 1:50
The game dissects each 50×50 pixel square (example) into a grid block. Assuming there are 100 blocks means you can get a repetition by staying on the border of the block you want to get duplicated pointing images in. Maybe I will do a tutorial video; please let me know. I used a corner for the speedrun because it's the simplest and fastest technique.
You'll notice "hey" and "heat" appearing in the captions, but that's YouTube wrongly adding those; they are not related to the video whatsoever; they are just a mistake by YouTube. There is no sound in this video except for the music.
That's all
